It all began upon our return from a transpacific delivery, when customers entrusted us with our first catamaran to operate in French Polynesia.
Thus, after a circumnavigation and several years of experience as a maintenance agent, sailor, and then captain for charter companies and in the yachting world, Mérouane Delaporte founded MD Sail Services and offered private sailing cruises in the Leeward Islands.
We offer Leeward Islands cruises focused on sailing, as well as an immersion in Polynesian culture.

Your Charter Captain Mérouane, the founder of MD Sail Services, is an experienced skipper who has been based in Raiatea since 2018. From Bora Bora to Huahine, the Raromatai (literally meaning Leeward Islands) have become his natural playground. Whether you want to swim with rays or sharks, visit a pearl farm, a vanilla plantation, or spend the night in a remote spot to stargaze, he can offer you everything to make your ideal cruise a reality!
Mérouane is a sailing specialist always ready to share his passion. He is also the champion in lightweight multihull sailing for the 2023 edition of the “Tahiti Pearl Regatta” and was trained by offshore racer Luc Coquelin in the Caribbean for several years.
